モーバン2日目に入りました。今日から本格的なアクティビティが始まりです。

いつもと違う朝食から始まり，モーバンの歴史的な建築物にふれ，

クラス分けのための英語テストも行われました。

日本と違い，涼しい気候で屋外での活動も楽しんでいますね。

Today we walked around Malvern College.  The buildings are different from Japanese school buildings.  Malvern College has beautiful buildings.  I liked them more than the Japanese buildings.

This morning I had breakfast for the first time in Britain.  My favorite breakfast is bread.

We had a difficult exam today.  The hardest part was making many question sentences.  I tried my best.

For lunch I had chicken which was a bit spicy.  Every day there are different menus for each meal.  I like the food very much.

I played tennis for the first time.  Playing tennis is more interesting than I thought.

Today we had a school tour at Malvern College.  We started the tour in the main building.  It is a traditional and beautiful building.  As we looked around the main building, the church, the theater and so on, we learned about the history and culture of the school.

I enjoyed eating here.  Today we had cookies and drinks after the school tour.  The cookies had a lot of chocolate in them, so they looked and tasted very nice.

From 11:00 to 12:00 I had an English test to divide the students into two groups.  It was very difficult, but I was glad that I had a chance to write an essay about movies.

Today’s lunch was also good.  I especially liked the fried chicken with tomato sauce.

In the afternoon, we will play tennis and have the first English lesson.

I got up at 5:00 a.m.  and so did my roommate.  I could see a beautiful view from our window.  Malvern College is on a hill, so it was wide open and fantastic.

For breakfast I had sausages, baked potato, scrambled eggs, a croissant, cornflakes, salad and some fruit.  My favorite was baked potato.

Today’s first event was the tour of Malvern College.  There are a lot of things I have never seen before.  I learned about the history of the school and various things.

After that I had an exam to decide our classes.  I hate exams, so when I finished the exam I was happy.

For lunch today we had chicken with tomato sauce, salad, ice cream and so on.  All of them were delicious.

In the afternoon we are going to play tennis.  I’m not very good at tennis, but I’ll try my best.

そろそろモーバンの環境や雰囲気にも慣れるころの3日目を迎えました。

午前中は授業。様々な表現・文法を使ってライティングやスピーキング，

ゲーム，プレゼンなどの活動を通して楽しく学びます。

午後はモーバンの街を散策・ショッピング。

そしてイギリス伝統のアフタヌーンティーの時間をすごしました。

食事作法だけでなく，家族や友人と共に会話を楽しむ文化についても学ぶことができました。

恒例の英文日記，今日も力作ぞろいです。

中学生はもちろん，小学生の方も翻訳にチャレンジしてみてください。

It was raining and chilly in the early morning, but before breakfast it was sunny and warm.  We had English class in the morning, and it was very interesting.  We did a presentation about the town of Malvern.  Then we took sandwiches to Priory Park and had a picnic.  There were lots of people having lunch and relaxing, and children playing.  After lunch we went shopping in the town of Malvern.  I found some nice shops and there were cute things.  At four o’clock we went to the Bluebird Tearoom and had a traditional English afternoon tea.  The scones were very sweet.  Scones with jam and cream were delicious!  Tea and scones went very well together.

This morning, I went swimming at Malvern Sports Centre. I hadn’t swum for a long time, and it was great fun. I want to go swimming again. The afternoon tea was very nice. I drank tea first. Friends dipped scones with jam and cream. I would rather not dip the scone. Eating scones and tea together is very good. After dinner we played games in the field. We ran a lot, so it was harder than I thought. I was tired, but I had a lot of fun.

T.I

After breakfast, I had an English lesson for three hours. I learned a long story in English. It was difficult, but very interesting. We had lunch in the park and then I went shopping in Malvern town center. I saw some people with a dog. There was a shop that sold nice glasses. I found a barber. It was exciting to walk around the town. In the evening we all played games in the field outside. My favorite game was “duck and goose”. Tomorrow I have to get up early because we are going to Eton College. I am looking forward to going to Eton College!

Today I got up at 6:30. I had an English lesson.  After that, we went to the town of Malvern and had some free time.  Then we went to a cafe for afternoon tea.  We ate scones and drank tea.  They are delicious together.  We went back to school and ate dinner.  After dinner, it was getting chilly outside.  We went to the field and played games together.  One of the games, “granny,” is the same as “Darumasan ga koronda” in Japan.Today I had various things to do, so it was a nice day.
