モーバン6日目を迎えました。

今日は午前中授業の後，

バスで15分の所にあるモーバンの脱出ゲーム体験へ。

シューティング・サバイバルゲームと脱出ゲームを

2つのグループ交代で各１時間ずつ楽しみ，

最後にアイススケートをしました。

それぞれ頭も身体も使いながら奮闘する様子が印象的でした。

そして，今晩は明日のハリーポッター・スタジオ見学にむけて

夜遅くまでハリーポッター映画鑑賞で予習しました。

Today was an exciting day.  In the morning, we had lessons at school.  In the afternoon, we went to Laser Quest.  It was shooting game in the dark and so difficult because I didn’t know how to do it.  After that we did ice skating.  I couldn’t enjoy it very much because I kept falling over.  In the evening, we watched a Harry Potter movie whose title was “The Prisoner of Azkaban.”  We watched it with English subtitles.  It was very exciting and a little bit scary.  I couldn’t wait to visit the Harry Potter Studio tour tomorrow.  Sadly, however, tomorrow Libby will leave our summer school.  I’ll miss her.

I enjoyed my English lesson today.  We have different activities, some kinds of worksheets and games.  After lunch we went to Laser Quest.  The games we played there were so much fun.  In the shooting game we were running around trying to catch each other with the lasers.  It was the most exciting game I have ever played.  Next we went ice skating.  I’ve done it before, but I fell a few times.  I skated with my friends and it was really fun.  In the evening we watched one of the Harry Potter movies to get ready for tomorrow’s trip.  I’m really looking forward to going to the Harry Potter studio tomorrow!

Today I had an English lesson about bird names.  I know a lot of bird names, like stork, ostrich and parrot.  I want to learn many more.In the afternoon I went to Laser Quest.  First I played a laser shooting game with my friends.  It was so exciting because I enjoyed using a laser gun.  I didn’t win, but I had a great time.  Second, I played an escape room game with my friends.  It was difficult for us to solve the programs, but we never gave up.  Our hard thinking led us to the goal.  Finally, we went ice skating.  I didn’t skate very well, but I tried very hard.  Then I think I could skate better than before.  It was great fun.  In the evening we watched a Harry Potter film.  It was the first time for me and it was very interesting.  Tomorrow we will go to the Harry Potter studio.  I can’t wait!

After an English lesson we went skating.  It was very cold in the building, but we had a lot of fun skating.  When we got back to the house, we went to the science building, which had a big room with a big screen and staircase seating, and we watched a Harry Potter film.  I had never seen it before, but it was interesting.

モーバン研修も折り返しの7日目を迎えました。

今日はスタッフのリビーが最終日となり，

コモンルームで記念写真を撮りました。

8:00に出発し，ロンドン方面にバスで約2時間半，

ハリーポッター・スタジオへ到着。

屋内施設には映画ハリーポッターで実際に使われた

セットや大道具・小道具などが展示されているだけでなく

メイキング映像や，スタッフたちのストーリーなども多く紹介されていました。

Today we went on the Harry Potter studio tour.  It was excellent because the Harry Potter films brought J.K. Rowling’s words to life on the silver screen.  The tour started with an introduction to the Harry Potter film series and its author, and then we went into a walk-in experience of what the eight films were like.  I took lots of photos with my friends.  I also saw the large model of Hagwarts buildings, which was real and spectacular.  I enjoyed many of the exhibitions.  In the shop I bought a key ring and a Harry Potter cap.  After dinner at school, we had a Harry Potter quiz session.  The quizzes were very difficult but enjoyable.  I felt that today was very short because I had a lot of fun.

Dear Diary,Today we had an early breakfast at seven.  After a two and a half hour bus ride, we arrived at the Harry Potter studio.  I saw many different settings for the Harry Potter films and learned about their history.  I didn’t know the Harry Potter series very well, but the film “Prisoner of Azkaban”, which we watched last night, attracted me.  I found some of the sets, the double-decker bus and the creatures in the film in the studio. They were so real and I really enjoyed looking around.  I want to watch more Harry Potter films at home.  In the shop I bought posters and a hoodie that had the words “Harry Potter” on it.  After dinner at school we had a Harry Potter quiz.  It was a lot of fun.

Today I had to get up earlier than usual because we were going on a trip.  We all wore our Malver Summer School T-shirts.  We went to the Harry Potter studio.  I took a picture and emailed it to a friend of mine who loves Harry Potter.  First we looked around the building, at various sets, costumes, characters, creatures and so on.  In the cafeteria, I ate a packed lunch that we had brought from school and bought “butter beer”, which appears in the Harry Potter film.  I also enjoyed buying souvenirs for my family and friends.  Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough money to buy many things.

Today we went to the Harry Potter studio.  I saw different things related to the Harry Potter movies.  I didn’t know the films very well, but there were a lot of nice things.  For example, I was surprised to see moving stairs in Hogwarts Castle.  The characters’ costumes were also beautiful.  I saw the latest technology used to express the world of Harry Potter.  I also enjoyed shopping.  I bought a hoody.  I thought it was so cool.  I would like to visit the studio again.
